I. Mục tiêu: Sau bài học, HS có thể: Phát âm đúng các mẫu tự b và h trong các từ và câu cho sẵn. Nghe và điền từ vào chỗ trống. Đọc bài Chant và diễn tả bằng động tác.

1. Warm up.

- Spend a few mins revising: Hi/ Hello. How are you? and I’m fine, thanks/ thank you. And you?

2. New lesson.

2.1. Listen and repeat.

- Put the phonics letters b and h on the board and say them a few times. Ask Ss to repeat after you.

- Prompt Ss to say the words and sentences, paying attention to the target phonics letters. Do choral repetition of the words and sentences until Ss confident.

2.2. Listen and write.

- Give Ss a few seconds to read the text in silence before starting the dictation.

- Have Ss swap and check their answers before checking as a class. Write the correct answers on the board for Ss to copy down into their notebooks.

- Get Ss to work in pairs and practise saying the sentences.

2.3. Let’s chant.

- Read the chant and check comprehension.

- Play the recording a few times for Ss to do choral and individual repetition. Show Ss how to chant and do the actions.

- Call two groups of four to give demonstration.

- Get four of Ss to sit face to face and practise chanting and doing the actions.

- Call two groups to the front of the class to chant and do the actions. The rest of the class claps along to the rhythm of the chant.

3. Reinforcement.

- Have Ss write a dictation of the chant.

4. Home-link.

- Ss recite the chant at home. Prepare new lesson.

- Revise.

- Look, listen and repeat.

- Swap and check their answers then copy down.

- Tell Ss that they’re going to read the questions on the left and pair them with those on the right by drawing a line between them. Give a few seconds for Ss to read in silence. Check comprehension.

- Have a few pairs act out the dialogues.
2.5. Look and say.
- Tell Ss that they’re going to do some dialogues. Give a few seconds for Ss to look at the pics and read the text in silence. Check comprehension and elicit the words to fill the gaps and give feedback.
- Get Ss to work in pairs.
- Call a few pairs to act out the dialogues. Give feedback and praise Ss who did well and encourage Ss to listen and make improvement.

- Have Ss recite the chant on p62.
2. New lesson.
- T helps Ss review the phonics, vocabulary and the sentence patterns from Units 1-10.
2.1. Phonics.
- Put the piece of paper with the phonics written on it on the board and play the recording. Ss follow the recording and read aloud. Draw Ss attention to the sounds that are difficult to pronounce such as bye , hello, Mai, Peter, five, six, that, yes 
- Have Ss to work in pairs practise reading the words aloud. Have some pairs demonstrate. Correct their pronunciation when necessary.
- Call on some pairs to demonstrate at the front of the class. Have the rest of the class observe and give comments.
2.2. Vocabulary.
- Put the vocabulary sheet of paper on the board. Ss recall the meanings of the words by reading aloud or playing a game (Name cards, Stand up when you hear ...) using flashcards.
- Have Ss to work in pairs or groups to say the words aloud again. Encourage them to group the words into categories: words to indicate greetings, names, friends, such as: hello, hi, bye, ...
- Have Ss make sentences with some of the words they have learnt.
2.3. Sentence patterns.
- Put the sheet of paper which contains the sentence patterns on the board. Ss repeat the patterns aloud as the follow the text on the board.
- Have Ss to work in pairs or group to make short dialogues with the sentence patterns. Have some pairs act out their dialogues at the front of the class. The rest of the class listen and give comments.

- Have Ss swap and check their answers before checking as a class. Write the correct answers on the board for Ss to copy down into their notebooks.
- Get Ss to work in pairs and practise saying the sentences.
2.3. Let’s chant.
- Read each line of the chant and have Ss repeat it a few times. Show Ss how to say the chant and do the actions.
- Play the recording a few times for Ss to do choral and individual repetition. 
- Get groups of Ss to sit face to face and practise chanting and doing the actions. Go around to offer help,
