Good evening, goodbye and hello) - Ask Ss to copy the grid down to their notebooks and select six words at random to put them in the boxes. - Call out the words until there is a pupil getting three words on a straight line crossed out and calling Bingo! He or She is the winner. New lesson Listen and write one word in each blank. Have Ss look at Pictures a, b, c and d on Page 21. Elicit the identification of the characters in the pictures and the characters’ words. Ask Ss to listen to the recording and match the information they hear to the pictures and number the corresponding pictures. 1st:Play the recording all the way thro ugh for Ss to listen while they are looking the pictures in their books 2nd: play the recording for Ss to listen and number for the correct pictures. 3rd: play the recording for Ss to check their answers. Have Ss trade their answers in pairs for correction Ask some questions to ensure Ss’ comprehension of the listening text. Write about your holiday Have Ss look at two pices of papers and introduce how to do the task. Have Ss to do the task in group (use extra board) in a few times. Teacher control the activities. Call on each group give their answer on the board. Compare the answers and find correct answer.
