- Ask and answer questions about what some one would like to eat or drink, using What would you like to eat/drink? I’d like .,please.
- Ask and answer questions about the quantityof food or drink, using how many/much .do you eat/drink every day? I eat/ drink
- Say questions and answers with the correct intonation.

Warm up:(5’) Spend a few minutes having the class say the chant How can we get there? And do actions? Work in pairs II. New lesson:(25’) 4. Read and do the tasks. a. Pre-reading: - Tell Ps that they are going to read the passage and label the places on the map. - Get Ps time to read the text and check their comprehension. Give meanings of common, accidents, sofa and tips - Explain the unfamiliar words, if necessary. b. While-reading: - Set a time limit for them to do the task independently. Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary. - Get them to compare their answers before checking as a class. Key : 1. Label the places: 1. bus stop 2. Pear Street 3.pharmacy 4. Tony’s house 2. Post- reading: - Role-play 5.Write the directions. a. Pre- writting - Ask Ps to read the sentences . - Tell the class that they are going to write the direction, using the map. b. While-writing. - Have Ps work in pair or group to discuss what they are going to write. - Give them time to read and do task. - Set a time limit for Ps to do the writing individually. Monitor the activity and offer help, if necessary. - Get them to read their writing in pairs before inviting two or three Ps to read their answers aloud. Key : 1. Go straight ahead. Turn right at Orange Street. The park is on the corner of Orange Street and Apple Street. 2. Go straight ahead. Turn right at Pear Street. The pharmacy is on the corner of Pear Street and apple street/ opposite the cinema. c. Post writing. - Role- play. 6. Project - Tell the class that they are going to draw a simple map about to show the way to their home from their school. - Have them work in groups. They should decide which direction to select and discuss how to a draw them. - Set a time limit for them to do the task. - Ask them to work in groups and decide whose home they will use to draw the map. They should write notes to give directions from the home to their school. - If there is not enough time, give the activity as homework. Have Ps show their result in the next class. 7. Colour the stars - Have the class read the statements and check their comprehension. - Give them time to colour the stars and invite a few Ps to read the statements aloud. - Give further support to Ps who find it difficult to achieve certain objectives. New lesson:(25’) 1. Look, Listen and repeat. - Tell the class that they are going to read and listen to a story - Have the class look at the pictures. Introduce the story by pointing at each character and elicit their answers to the questions: Who is he/she?What would he/she like to eat? What would he/she like to drink?( Mai and Nam are in the school canteen, ordering food and drink . In picture a, Mai say I’d like some rice with fish, please. In picture b, the lady asks Nam what would you like to eat? And Namanswers I’d like a bowl of noodles, please. In picture c, the lady asks Mai what would you like to drink ? and she answers I’d like a cartoon of apple juice, please. In picture d, Nam say I’d like a glass of water, please.) - Play the recording all the way through for the class to listen and follow in their books. Play it again for them to repeat line by line. Finally, point to each picture for them to say the words in each bubble. - Check their understanding of the story. 2. Point and say a. Vocabulary: - Have Ps look at the pictures. Warm up:(5’) Spend a few minutes revising the previous lesson by inviting one or two pairs to act out the story in Activity 1 Work in pair of two. II. New lesson:(25’) 4. Listen and tick : a. Pre-listening: - T looks at the books and sets the scence: How many sentences are there? How many picture are there? Ask Ps to look at each pictures and guess answer for questions: What would you like to eat/drink ? - Tell Ps that they are going to listen and tick the correct boxes. - Have pupils look at the boxes to identify the each place and where. b. While-listening: - Play the recording all the way through for Ps to listen. Play it again for them to do the task. - Tell them that they should pay attention to directions. - Get them to compare their answers before checking as a class. Play it again for them to repeat line by line. - When the class are familiar with the melody, ask them to sing along with the music before having them practise singing and doing actions in groups - Invite a group to sing the song and do actions. A group does actions. II. New lesson:(25’) 1. Look, listen and repeat. (10’) - Tell the class that they are going to read a story . - Have them look at the pictures and guess what the story is about. Check their comprehension by pointing at each picture to elecit their answers to these questions: Whp are these girls? Where are they? What are they talking about? 9 Linda and Mai are at the supermarket. In picture a, they see some apples and Mai say she likes apple . In picture b, Linda asks Mai How many apples do you eat every day? And Mai ansers two. In pictures c, Mai say milk is her favourite drink. In picture d, Linda asks Mai How much milk do you drink every day? And Mai answers two glasses.) - Play the recording all the way through for pupils to listen, and point to the appropriate line in their books. - Play the recording again for pupils to repeat the lines in the speech bubbles. Repeat the step a few times. - Practice with ps. - Devide the class into 2 groups. Asks practice in pairs. - Go round and check ps can repeat and understand the dialogue. 2. Point and say: (14’) a.
