Ask Ss to open their books on P.6 Ask: Who are they? Where are they? Have ss listen to the tape first. Teach the word “ date”; “the first of October” and “ the second of October” Play tape again and ask Ss to repeat each line of the dialogue. Divide the class into two groups to play roles. Have ss practice in pairs. Call some pairs to read aloud. 2. Point and say Have ss look at the picture and identify the pictures. Present some new vocabularies. Do picture a as a model. T: What’s your address, Hoa? Call some pairs to read in front of the class. Have one by one sts stand up and tell class their address. Let’s talk. Have Ss look at the sentences on page 7 and identify how to the task. Have Ss to repeat the sentences in the bubbles a few times before let them practice freely. Encourage Ss to work in pairs use the question below to make a dialogue.(use the real names to practice.) Monitor the activity and offer help when necessary/ correct typical pronunciation errors. Call on a pair to demonstrate at the front of the class. Have the whole class repeat all the phrases to reinforce their pronunciation Consolidation Ask sts reread vocabularies and sentences patterns Homework: Learn new words and sentences patterns by heart.
